Here are a very few examples of buttons. The possibilities are endless! Be sure to move your mouse pointer over them to see the rollover effects. I'll add more from time to time, so don't forget to check back!
Other possibilities...
If you have limited space on your page for navigation, but a lot of pages on your site, use a navigation bar with drop-down menus. They are easiest to create and maintain in pages using frames.
The buttons on this page are 2-state: they look one way before you roll your mouse over them, then change when as you move the mouse point onto them. But we can also do 4-state rollovers. They change again when you click on them (3rd state) and while you are on the page they link to, they remain in the 4th state - sort of a bookmark - until you click on another button and move to a different page. I'll add an example soon.
I was serious when I said the possibilities are endless!
On the left, I've also included two navigation panels. Font sizes, outline boxes, background colors are all optional/changeable/variable... all depending on the type of effect you're looking for.
Here are a few examples of Horizontal Rules. They can come in handy for sectioning off different parts of a long page... or simply as decoration. Again, the possible variations are absolutely endless.
