dbs design DIGITAL ART
What is Digital Art? Almost any art or artistic interpretation of photos created using digital, rather than traditional, artist's tools! Photoshop is one popular tool: it has an amazing range of filters and other tools to turn an ordinary photo into a work of art (it is, however, in the eye of the beholder). Digital art can include collages, montages, original drawings, and just about anything else the creative spirit (and a few good tools) can come up with. PLEASE NOTE: Several of the original photos in this album are courtesy of Gail, my niece, who has a 'good eye' and sends me photos to do with as I wish. Thanks, Gail.
Another of my favorite tools is Corel Painter, which uses traditional artist's tools (the virtual version, of course) to create old paintings, chalk drawings, watercolors, etc. from photos or from scratch. Click to View a small sample in the dbs Design Digital Art Gallery. Please use the 'Home' image at the top of each Gallery page to return to the gallery index. To return to this page, simply close the gallery browser window.
I'll be adding more images to this gallery in the future. Please contact me for prices and options if you're interested in purchasing prints. Some photos are available in more than one size, and my preferred photo lab offers options in mounting, paper, framing, etc.: metallic paper that really 'pops' colors, canvas on a stretcher or on standard mounting board, many different print sizes and simple frames, reasonable prices, and inexpensive, flat-rate shipping directly to you. Let me know what you're interested in and I'll let you know the available options and associated costs. Please email your inquiries to sunny at designbysunny.com. |
