Here's my original, unembellished apple.

Here's the improved version. I was very happy to discover all the live effects in Freehand. I have had fun playing with the vector drawing tools and have gotten much better at using them. However... sometimes you just want to blur/soften stuff a little bit.

Here are my original balloons and the hose. I played around with some different settings and tried my balloons as a border in the images below.

I expect that this will come in handy at some point in the future, but again, I need a little additional practice!

I put a little border around the page - trying to make it obviously a page! I definitely would want to tweak some of the settings if I were really going to use this as stationary. It's kinda' boring right now.
